Application Process Breakdown

1) Read and Review your classes post of requirements and if you meet or are close to meeting them contact your Class Leader listed on that post.

1a) Also Read and Review the class wide requirements (see below) and understand the attendance requirements (see below). By moving to step two you acknowledge you have read and reviewed this entire post.

1b) Berserkers currently fall under rogue recruitment.

2) Contact a the CL for your class, any officer: Charsi, Aaeanas, Reyden, Furgh, Kalnog, or Amilly either by a /tell, Email or ingame Email for general information. For class specific information, you MUST contact your class leader. Once interest is shown the class leader will approve and handle all aspects of your recruitment.

3) If your class is recruiting and you have done the above two steps, you will be asked to post an application. See #8 below.

4) Once an application is posted the process will begin.

5) If your class is CLOSED you may still post an application, but the process will not continue until we confirm there is a vacancy and/or slot that can be opened up. Applicants that are above and beyond normal requirements may be processed regardless of class status and at an accelerated rate.

5a) In addition you are welcome at this stage to show up to off day guild functions/raids.

6) After you recieve CL approval you will be given a trial and put on a 30 day maximum initial trial period. During this period you still accumulate raid hours and may have chances at rot loot/spells. NOTE: For candidates with good references, good attendance, and excellent performance, trials may be fast tracked and votes posted before the 30 days are up.

6a) You will be expected to make every official raid day (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) that you are able too during this period (see below) as well as get to know both encounters and the guild members of Sol Invictus.

7) After the trial period a vote will be posted for the full members of Sol Invictus and will result in either you becoming a full member yourself, an extension of your trial or your removal as a trial.

7a) Nobody outside of Sol Invictus is to have access to your account at anytime. If anyone has access and an officer catches wind of it, and sends a tell to find out they are not you, your character will be removed until you can get back online to talk with an officer. If they want access to your account, they can apply, and abuse you all they wish.

Server Transfers
------------------------------------------------------------
Server Transfers are welcome and the above process applies all the same. The only difference is that your recruitment process may be a bit slower due to the fact we will be looking into your background. To make this process smoother do not lie about your background, list a detailed guild and server history. If you have something to hide don't bother even applying unless you have a good explanation and points of contact.

Do not expect to get into this guild if you are a drama king/queen, ninja looted and/or have done any other undesirable act.

General Requirements

The below requirements are for your benefit and the guilds, constant LD's during raids can cause huge headaches

*Must have a stable internet connection (Broadband highly recommended)

*Must have stable computer system

*Be unguilded

*Minimum Level requirement is 80.

*Have an enduring breath item.

*Have one instant click buff item, it is highly recommended however that you have 2 or more, as ae's tend to take more then one.

*Have a working knowledge of zones and how to travel between most zones. As expansions are released, travel the zones, learn them, live them, and most important, know how to get through them without training or dying.

*Must have all maps (www.mapfiend.net)

*Must have all expansions enabled.

*Acquired the AA ability of Run5

Attendance
------------------------------------------------------------
Sol Invictus raids 3 days a week.

Tuesday 7:30 PM Eastern to ~Midnight Eastern.
Thursday 7:30 PM Eastern to ~Midnight Eastern.
Sunday 7:30PM Eastern to ~ Midnight Eastern.

The schedule does not vary, except some holidays which we do not raid on. By applying to Sol Invictus you are confirming that you understand our raid times and can say in good faith that you are able to, and will, make 2 out of 3 or more of our raids.

Under 50% attendance during a person's trial period will result in the person receiving an automatic extended trial for 1 month.

Under 20% attendance during a person's trial period will result in an automatic "no."

Once voted in members must play and maintain over 50% attendance for 3 months in order to remain a member in good standing of Sol Invictus. Certain circumstances could be discussed on a case by case basis, such as military deployment, or family illness, etc. Hitting an 80% attendance rate during trial, getting voted in, and then disappearing for another game the next month is not looked upon favorably.

By joining the guild you are saying you are not done with EQ and have at least several more months you will be playing. You are saying that you still enjoy the game, and are looking to become a guild member for the remainder of your play time.

Guild Atmosphere

Sol Invictus is a serious raiding guild but with a family orientated atmosphere and as such will not tolerate excessive swearing, racial or gender bias' in any chat channel associated with the guild. Many of our members have children that are often at and/or near their computers and can read what is said.
